Digital panhandling updated: two•HUNDRED•thou

Tuesday, November 30th, 2010

Since I saw the site 3 days ago her free money has increased 4,000$.

So now she is putting more effort in to her panhandling site. In the freshly added section listed as “Same Boat?” there suggestions like applying for scholarships and how to  work on budgeting. The funny thing is that she does not recommend that people slap up a website and get suckers to donate 1000$+ per day to dodge their responsibility while offering nothing back to society.

Here this guy has had his donate button up since May with no donations .. Wonder the difference is between the 1k per day website.. surely not effort.

This website is pretty disturbing.. A how to for online begging. Rationalizing it as “Any kind of huge consumer debt, whether it is credit card, loans of any kind, etc. hinders an individual from being able to accomplish goals throughout their life

I can see a wave of people from Nigeria starting donate to my student loan scams because of the supply of Americans that are scamable..

I was going to comment on this persons blog but they don’t have the option enabled.

The fact that this website exists is what I think is wrong with America…

I really like the use of “We” like this is a team effort..

Apparently some people that think more like me and are disgusted by this sent her some emails and she posted:

The bottom line is she slapped up a website with no content with a big donate button. We are not stupid we know exactly what she is doing.. Furthermore if you don’t want to come across as a beggar you might not want to put down that your GOAL is 200,000$ in donations.  To restate, the goal is that strangers pay for 100% of the student loan..

And of course it is rational to say that having strangers pay for your student loans is not taking the easy way out.

And yet the donate button still works because .. hey.. free money is free money..

Why are these people donating and encouraging this kind of behavior.

Billing group edited without warning to avoid principal payments

Thursday, November 12th, 2009

I have had 1 singular billing group ever since I have been on Sallie Mae to apply my extra payments the way I want… I state in an email sent to them at least once a week to apply anything extra to a specific loan number and there is always extra sent. This last payment the loan number I specify for extra payments did not receive one dime from my monthly payment. …

Upon looking closer it appears they have just decided to remove my loan from my billing group. I swear if somebody told me all the things a company would do prior to this I would be skeptical. They seriously just do whatever the hell they want…. I can’t even believe it …

Sallie Mae’s Bitch

Thursday, April 30th, 2009

Here is a disturbing video of someone on YouTube explaining his Student loan situation. My favorite quote from this video is “This past week Sallie Mae tried to get me, cause.. I’m like bitch these loans are in forbearance..”. Then he appears to go on to admit to that he committed fraud on his mother to get more money to pay for extra stuff while attending college.  I for one think that Sallie Mae is evil  and the student loan system is a scam but I also think people should pay their loans back.

Woman begs for 2 cents to help pay off student loans

Monday, March 9th, 2009

I have been looking at Sallie Mae student loan complaints for a long time and this is one of the most original. The poster is trying to get people to donate to help get her out of her abusive relationship with "Sallie". I am not sure if the actual .02 cent donation would work out as I am thinking it probably cost some type of fee to accept the 2 cents.  She only needs 7.5 million people to pay off her student loans.
